Well, we did end up getting a "last meal" the other night, but it wasn't McDonald's. We decided to get some pasta from Fazoli's and I ate so much my stomach hurt. When I officially weighed on yesterday morning, I was 182.8. I followed my own plan of eating Fiber One cereal for breakfast, Lean Cuisines for lunch and dinner, and pieces of fruit after I worked out. We did Biggest Loser: Last Chance Workout in the morning, then I did Billy Blanks Celebrity Fit Cardio in the afternoon, and we finished the day with Shaun T's Insanity Ab workout. It was a successful day! So this morning I weighed in at 181.2. I'm happy to see the water weight coming off (and maybe some real poundage over time). I feel so great to almost be at my first little goal of 180. It's definitely true what "they" say: set little goals for yourself! It feels great meeting them versus waiting for a big goal further out, causing you to lose your motivation along the way.
I'm on my second day now. I ate my cereal this morning and then did Billy Blanks' Live Cardio Bootcamp workout. I'm going to my sister's baby shower today, and I'm mentally preparing myself to stay away from the snack food. I'm going to eat a Lean Cuisine before I hit the road, take some gum, and maybe a piece of fruit, and hopefully that will keep me satisfied. We are going to do another workout this afternoon (and maybe even a third this evening).
It's nice to have these last few days of spring break to get into the groove of things. We are preparing to go strong next week and for the next six weeks as if we're in "bootcamp." It definitely helps with my mentality. I am feeling strong so far, but I know it's only day 2. However, the first few days are the slowest. Yesterday was painfully slow, and it's hard to picture myself doing this everyday for six weeks... but I'm going to try to stay mentally strong as long as I can while it lasts. School will be officially over at the same time the six weeks are over and then I can hopefully continue on even harder with more free time. 130 is my ultimate goal, but I'm not giving myself a time limit on when I have to meet it. I know the weight will come off as it's ready and my job is to just continue on.
